Cozumel, Mexico (Western Caribbean). Three piers sit along the west coast south of San Miguel. Taxis run on a fixed tariff and tour operators meet guests just outside each pier gate.

All-aboard and buffer rules
Ships here dock alongside. All-aboard is normally 30 minutes before departure on Royal Caribbean, Carnival, NCL and MSC (check your daily planner). Plan to be back at the pier at least 60 minutes before the ship sails.
Tours that need extra margin here
- Ruins / history: Tulum and Chichen Itza tours cross to Playa del Carmen by ferry, so a ferry delay can eat your buffer. San Gervasio on the island is the low-risk ruins option.
- Nature / waterfall / park: Xcaret and Xplor are on the mainland and need the ferry both ways.
